Does the “Output” button on May DAC’s remote do something?

Excuse me for asking a question not directly related to roon or HQPlayer.
I know quite a few of you own it, so you can help resolve my question.

Does the “Output” button on May DAC’s remote do something?

I expected the button to change the output polarity, but nothing happened.
I checked the user manual, and it says the Volume + and - buttons are “N/A for May DAC,” but doesn’t say the Output button is not available either.

Thanks in advance.

Have you asked Holo’s tech dept. They should be able to give you an answer.

I did on Tuesday but no reply by this time.

I contacted support again, and they replied this time.
And, the button in concern won’t work with the May DAC.

Hi!

I’ve a Spring L3, and the output button just shifts between different “outputs” USB, Optical, Coax, etc.

Isn’t that “Input”?

UPS :face_with_hand_over_mouth: yes! Don’t know what it does, actually had no effect on mine

Got a reply from distributor in HK, it was for the “old Cyan”. But now is not operational

Output:
Fully balanced XLR and RCA outputs, and balanced headphone output.

Use translate

Thanks for the additional info!
Now I understand why there’s a button that doesn’t seem operational on Holo Audio products today.
I did check other products’ manuals to find out what it was for.
