Description of Issue

I’m having difficulty downgrading to 1.8. I’ve run the .sh script supplied as a program but it doesn’t seem to work.

I confess that linux is a bit of a black box to me. I installed Roon Server in terminal using this method “curl -O https://download.roonlabs.net/builds/roonserver-installer-linuxx64.sh

Logs still show Roon 2.0. Do I need to kill the current Roon Server process before downgrading? If so how is that done?

Would you please provide step-by-step instructions or a similar install method to the one I used.

From the terminal, navigate to the folder you downloaded the installer, e.g., cd ~/Downloads and the use this…

sudo ./roonserver-installer-linuxx64.sh uninstall

Thank you Martin. That’s worked.
