Description of Issue

All is now downsampled to CD quality. Why has this been changed in the latest update? I had not a single problem with the 24bit/192kHz what it was before. My Phone down or upsamples to 48kHz. Not a single reason to buy a DAP this way. Just get a good dongle and you’re done.

Nothing is guaranteed with Android in the remote app it’s reliant on Android Audio telling it the rate of the DAC on Fiios this appears to be a moving goal post, likey due to their architecture bypassing the android audio path which Roon sticks to currently. It may be sticking to a freq used by a previous app. Had you used any other apps on it before Roon?

Previous Build 192kHz and with build 1167 its downgraded to 44.1 kHz. No changes to the DAP so if it’s saying anything it will be the same as ever, No other clients than Roon Remote. Reboot of the DAP indeed changed it’s behaviour in Roon. Strange but solved. Thanks…
