I am currently paying for cloud storage with iCloud and OneDrive. Is there a way to develop a “network path“ to enable me to send backups there? I don’t wanna pay for more space in dropbox and it has always full from those backups.
I wouldnt suggest using the Dropbox option IN Roon. Imho, You should backup to a local location and then sync that location to an internet storage point same for restoring.
If you crash you probably won’t be able to restore directly from the Dropbox backup. You will need to download to a different local location and then restore.

Do you backups onto a pc or nas then use
Automated syncing stuff to send it OneDrive or iCloud. I backup to my nas which I turn syncs this once a day to the cloud. There are plenty of none NAS options.

OK. I’ll look into that. (I’m not a techie but with AI how hard could it be to figure out?)
