Description of Issue

I get intermittnt clicks, sometimes pops when playing DSD files. No matter what device settings I try in Roon ( and I have tried them all), I cant get rid of clicks, sounds like a worn out record.

I am quite annoyed with this, I am doing no conversions, not using DSP, signal path is DSD>RAAT>PS DAC

I do know it’s Roon. How? Very simple - if I dont want to hear clicks and pops I use JRiver - 100% no issues.

Can you please help me resolve this? It is not correct for such expensive program to maifunction. Please dont tell me itt’s inherent in DSD, JRiver works fine on same PC. Thanks in advance.

Hi @dan_Lawson,
Thanks for writing in. This could be a problem related to upsampling especially if you’re using the minimum phase upsampling option. If you could send a screenshot of your signal path that would help us be sure if this is the issue or not.
