DSD files not recognized

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Core: Synology NAS 1515+
Client: macOS 11.0.1
Latest Roon v1.7

Description Of Issue

Music files locate in my NAS and I can import FLAC/AIFF files. I bought some Pentatone DSD ISO files and convert some to DSD files using XLD on my Mac. I choose DSD64 settings.
Both the ISO and the DSD files can be played with Audirvana. But cannot imported to Roon. Roon just ignore the folder and files.
Is there any special setting? Or what’s the best method using DSD ISO files?

Hi @Yongping_Yao,

DSD ISO files are not supported. You have our apologies for the inconvenience!

Yes, I know that. I use XLD to convert the ISO to DSD files. And they are DSD64 files now.
I suppose that could be imported into Roon. Am I right?
As this procedure did not work, I’m trying to find what’s wrong. Is there any other requirement I missed?

Are they labeled .DSD or .DSF?

They are labeled .dsf

The problem solved after I restart the Roon core on NAS.
Thanks for all your attention and replies.

.dsf files still need to restart Roon to import. Flac and aiff files are OK. At least they can be imported. Hope it will be fixed in next version or next Roon on Synology version.
