Description of Issue

After I placed the album Off the Cuff by Emmanuel Alexander in my music library, the files were skipped because the “Audio stream format is not supported.” I find this odd because I have other DSD files in my library at the same resolution as this album (that being DSD256), and those imported just fine.

I forgot to mention that I’m using Roon 2.0 (build 1303) production (64bit).

What format / file extension do the skipped files have?

The files are .dsf extension. The format is DSD256 as mentioned earlier.

That is interesting indeed… I have the issue with the same Emmanuel Alexander album (mine also DSD256)… no matter how I place it in storage (ROON Core on NUC), it just doesn’t show up in my albums! All other albums from this same label/resolution/format are fine…

I think I found a possible fix. The software I normally use to unzip zipped files is 7z. I deleted the album from my Roon library, downloaded new zip files, and used the unzip tool that’s built into Windows, and now the album shows up in my library.

Thats also something I thought might be the case with mine as well… I’m on a Mac Mini Pro M2 and also using a third party unzip app… Many thanks for the feedback as I had considered trying winzip or something else… will let you know how I make out!
