DSD256 Playback through FiiO K17

Hello, I’m having issues with DSD128 and higher when streaming to my K17 endpoint. I’ve read that K17 only supports DoP with higher DSD files, but I don’t see the ability to change this within the Audio settings of this endpoint in Roon. Any ideas?

Ask Fiio if they support higher on your K17 via roon/RAAT. The K17 may support more in the tech. spec. but this doesn’t mean it does for roon/RAAT. Imagine roon/RAAT as a streaming protocol with its very own implementation and limitations for a roonReady device.

Plus only a few manufacturers of roonReady devices openly tell you something about their roon/RAAT support beyond PCM stereo. It’s quite annoying.
