DSP not working

Hi,
I’m running Roon core on a headless Mac Mini and into a Metrum Hex DAC which uses a M2Tech HiFace USB connection.
When I switch on the DSP engine all I get is short bursts and hacks of distortion.

I was able to get it to work once and both the EQ and the Audeze presets worked. But when I switched the DSP off and on again it fell back to distorted clicks and hacks.

Any idea what could be wrong here?

Hello @David_Grein,

Try setting the Maximum Bit Depth to the HiFace zone to 24 bits. You can do this by entering the “Device Setup” page for the zone and then opening the “Show Advanced” tab. Let me know if this changes the behavior you are seeing.

what is the processing Speed indicated in the Audio path - screenshot please

Setting the Max Bit Depth to 24 did the trick.
It’s working now.
