DSP Volume affecting DSD transmission on Yamaha R-N1000 (ref#68LCND)

I try install on my PC Steinberg driver. Right now I have Native and ASIO driver. Of course the ASIO doesn’t support volume change but Native DSD works. It’s possible to add this driver for Linux device like RoPieee?

If You want please vote for my feedback

Thank You!

If you don’t have any DSD256, the discussion is moot because Ropieee will play everything you have bit-perfect using DoP.

No, the driver has to be contributed to the Linux kernel project by Steinburg. They would need to do the same macOS, too.

Presently, XMOS based devices* do, in most cases, support native DSD.

*This is the USB interface. UAC 2.0 (USB Audio) works out of the box using DoP, which, as I’ve already said, is identical to native, but max. DSD available in bandwidth limited.

Thank you for your professional help and contribution to solving my problem. I also have DSD 256 files. I wrote to Yamaha some time ago and I’m waiting for their response whether they plan to release a driver in cooperation with Steinberg for Linux.
I’m not interested in Mac OS.

Regards!

Update:
Today also wrote to Steinberg teams to ask about his future about improve quality of product and maybe add drivers to Linux and iOS.
