Please consider changing the principle of operation of DSP Volume so that when the volume is set to 0 dB, the function will behave for DSD files as if it were disabled, which will ensure lossless transmission of sound from the device to the DAC. Currently, the sound even at 0db DSP Volume setting is converted to PCM 352 kHz, which causes its degradation. I use the DSP Volume function to control the ROON volume using the remote control, so I have it on all the time. A detailed description of the problem is included in this Roon support thread.
