I found a solution to the problem, with the help of this article.
So toggling exclusive mode off (which defines not a pure path anymore)
I am able to force in the audio device on the mac to stereo, and the DTS playback works fine.
Like defined in the article, it’s strange you still have manipulate within the macos the channels, while on other hardware it seems to work automatically.
Anyway happy to hear DTS again.
