(Dumb Question 14 in a series) Does it matter what I sample rate I convert from?

As a deaf person learning to understand music via a cochlear implant - another question.

My devialet speakers play at 48kHz. Does it matter it matter what I sample rate I convert from? (192 or 96?)

No, it doesn’t. You can also convert from 44.1kHz with no issues.
