I should add that even though my compilation sorting is set per above, I am seeing this issue once again as well:
…so it’s still not fixed. This only shows when sorting by “Artist.”
I maintain that the issue might be cause by an illogical feature offering - I can see no reason to sort albums by “Artist” when in fact the “Artist” tag is a track-based tag; the sort feature should only be on “Album Artist” - this is what is causing this issue…
I had uploaded my database to Roon support several weeks ago and have not heard any progress since then.
