Duplicate album issue with Qobuz and physical library (ref#L95MRD)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Music won’t play or issues with my library

Music won’t play or issues with my library

· Local files won't import or appear

Tell us what's going on

· I have been fighting the issue of some tracks not playing. This turned out to be a Qobuz problem. However, my problem is that I have the same albums in my physical library (on my disk) and it is still unable to play. After some effort I discovered (by disabling Qobuz) that the album appears twice but there is nothing to denote that one is Qobuz and the other is physical. If a Qobuz album has been indexed and the same album exists in the library, there needs to be a way to define default behavior, either, "prefer library," or, "prefer streaming service."

Tell us about your home network

· Router is OPNsense. I route both IPv4 and IPv6. Primary is terrestrial fiber. Backup is Starlink. IPv6 is tunneled to Hurricane Electric. Switches are Ubiquiti smart switches. No VPN. If you want I can get into detail about subnets and VLANs but that is not really an issue here.

In Roon Settings → Custom Album Display
There is an option to display a Qobuz badge … does this help?

Also in versions you should be able to specify the primary album to play.

A screenshot of what you see would help because such an indicator exists normally. This is on the album page:

And if you have the Qobuz badge for the album cover enabled, then My Albums shows the badge if you have made the Qobuz version the primary version:

But there is no Qobuz badge if you make the local version the primary version:

Plus on the VERSIONS tab of the album you can see which version you are currently looking at:

You can enable the badges in Settings:

And you can choose the primary version:

We’ll be monitoring for your reply, thank you! :folded_hands:

Thank you. It took some looking. Turns out it is in Settings>General>Customize album display.

In any case, I wasn’t aware of that. Apparently the Qobuz badge was already enabled. I will pay more attention in the future.
