Describe the issue
I’m having issues with Roon creating two duplicate scrobbles whenever I play tracks from Qobuz. The tracks look like they’re scrobbling at both the start and the end of the song. Every pause and play cycle also creates another scrobble. There’s no problem with Tidal or when I play my own NAS files.
I really don’t want to disable the scrobbling in either Qobuz or Roon, as I also often switch to the Qobuz app for downloads during the day when I'm out the house and I also play my own music files through Roon when I’m at home.
I’ve found an old thread with what looks like the same issue here: https://community.roonlabs.com/t/scrobbling-issues-with-qobuz/59747
Interestingly, ARC doesn’t have the same problem. When I'm using it in online mode, then tracks just scrobble once when they reach the end, as they should. Pausing and playing doesn't create duplicates either. Any tracks played in offline mode scrobble whenever ARC is reconnected to the server, with the correct time that I played them. Could it have been fixed in ARC since the above community discussion, as ARC is more recent?
I’m new to Roon and loving it but deleting all the duplicates is getting a bit old. Is there something I’m missing? Or is a fix needed so the Roon client works more like ARC? Thank you
