Dynaudio Focus 10s not appearing in Roon audio devices (ref#BKIR77)

recently updated Roon and now Dynaudio Focus 10s are not showing up in list of Audio except for Airplay which I don’t want to use obviously. Was working great and recognized Focus perfectly prior to most recent update

thanks @AMT I have rebooted Roon but as of yet have not done anything to the Focus 10s. Weird because they are working fine with Tidal Connect but Roon isn’t recognizing. Might be I have to go that route next if it doesn’t resolve itself.

should have mentioned that the Focus 10s are only a couple weeks old and I updated the Firmware as soon as I got them so they are current

@John_Hewer, another fellow user here. Is there a setting on the Focus 10s to allow Roon to see them? The reason I am asking, and it may be embedded in your Google Cast Group, is that while AirPlay is visible, I would expect Chromecast to be visible also, using the same IP address as seen for AirPlay.

thanks @Robert_F unfortuntately there is no setting specific to Roon. It appears it is up to Roon to recognize the Focus’s. If you look at the screenshot you will see Chromecast is visible as Google Cast Group

I would restart your network gear then restart the focus 10 and Roon core. Something is likely blocking discovery this can happen at updates sometimes and this can often clear it.

@Simon_Arnold3 thanks for the tips! So looks like we are good. Simplest solution usually works… After doing the Network and roon core and nothing happened I unplugged the Focus 10s plugged em back in and bingo they appeared in Roon. Was initially hesitant to do that as I’ve had issues with other active speakers reconnecting but took less than 5 seconds.
