Early Access RoonOS 3.0 question

I downloaded the “roonos-earlyaccess.bin” file and Reinstalled it as per instructions BUT I’m seeing version 1.0 (build 257) on my ROCK status screen. My ROCK is installed on an Intel NUC.

I did a re-boot of the server software but still sitting at version 1.0, build 257.

Is this what is expected?

RoonOS 3.0 supported devices

The supported devices for Roon OS v3.0 is Nucleus One, Nucleus Titan, and the existing support for NUC UEFI boxes.

ROCK (and Nucleus pre-One/Titan) installs that were created in Legacy BIOS mode don’t update beyond RoonOS 1.0 Build 257 (in Early Access; Production updated to Build 259).

UEFI mode support in RoonOS came later, and only devices installed in this mode (including Nucleus One/Titan and later ROCK) updated to RoonOS 2.0/2.1 with higher build numbers, and now 3.0.

The BIOS devices will need to be reinstalled after switching the BIOS from Legacy to UEFI mode. (NUCs from the last 10 years and more should be able to do this)
