EarlyAccess: Roon 2.0 Build 1423 is Live!

Hello Everyone,

First off – we just want to thank everyone for quick, responsive, and detailed feedback about these Airplay changes. The Airplay ecosystem can be complex, and we really appreciate everyone’s efforts to help us deploy these changes in a stable and non-disruptive way.

Today’s build is targeted at recent reports of issues with Apple TV and passcodes – we know some testers have experienced issues being prompted for passcodes either during the initial pairing of the Apple TV to Roon, or later after the pairing is complete.

We hope the changes in this release resolve these issues, so if you have an Apple TV (or any smart TV with built in AirPlay support) please be sure to test (with and without a passcode) and let us know your Apple TV version number when reporting your results.

We continue to look into reports of regressions related to certain Sonos and NAIM devices, and obviously continue to keep an eye out for other regressions – if you have Airplay devices in your home, please continue to test and let us know the results.

Thanks again for all of your hard work in testing this release!
