EarlyAccess: Roon 2.67 Build 1662 : RAM Usage feedback

Looking at memory usage over the last number of days, where there was 1. update to B1662 and 2. schedule database backup
I was away, but accessing the Roon server through Roon ARC

Physical memory was building to 6GB with a spike at 7.5GB
The database backup released unmanaged and it was down to 4GB, but has to 5.5GB

However it does show that undertaking a Roon database backup, is presently going to help manage memory usage, as it cleans up the unmanaged usage.

This is production 2.67 running on DietPi but I am still seeing increases of memory that are coincident with my daily backup at 4.00AM.

As you can see, some of the memory is subsequenctly released (a couple of hours later) but there is still a net increase.

Analysis of the physical memory usage

shows a gradual rise from under 6GB to over 7GB, and then a database backup kicks in, this morning, memory usage spikes at nearly 10GB and then falls back to the 5.5GB level.

What is happening when the database backup initiates to cause this memory spike.
If this exceeds the actual physical RAM available (16GB for me), will it cause a crash/restart of the Roon Server?

Yes it will and quite likely create a corrupted backup

@connor could this be related to the additional verbose diagnostic logging for the Chromecast thing?
