I have several covers of ‘heroes’ by David Bowie in my collection. But not all are recognized as such. Actually this goes for a lot of songs/covers. Sometimes the work around is to add metadata to a song, like composer or writer or performer etc. But this is not that easy and strangely, doesn’t always give the right result.
‘Connecting’ songs could be made much easier. I mean just point out that this particular song is a cover of that song by just dragging it onto eachother. Or have a link under the three dots that says ‘Mark this song as a cover of…’ and then when you click it a search bar appears and you can point out the correct original.
