Editing from Roon Remote

Vinyl album ripped to digital

I have a Roon Nucleus One. I have two copies of Roon Remote that I use to play-back/edit my Music Library (located on a USB-SSD card connected directly to the Nucleus). One Remote copy is located on an iPad (I use this Remote copy primarily for playback). The other Remote copy is on my Mac mini (I use this Remote copy primarily for editing the Library metadata). Lately, for no apparent reason, when I try to make metadata changes from the Mac mini’s Remote copy, the changes don’t appear to be saved. For example, I have a vinyl album that has been ripped to digital and included in my Roon Library. I’ve gone in and let Roon rename the tracks repeatedly, ensuring that “prefer Roon” is also selected in the Editing preferences. The track names show up in the edit, but when I go back to the view panel (where the music would play from), the track names did not change!

Hi @Glenn_Young ,

Thanks for reaching out. Can you please reproduce this issue and let us know the exact local time + date + track/album that you make the changes on that do not take? We’ll enable diagnostics after getting this info to see if there are any clues in the logging, thanks!
