For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.
· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.
Describe the issue
I use Roon Essential on a Elac Discovery. I have had the device disconnected and I have changed my password. Now it won't connect. What can I do? Thanks, Niels
Describe your network setup
ELAC Discovery. Used to work. But dosn´t after disconnect and change of password.
Thanks for writing in! A few next troubleshooting steps if you havent tried yet:
Reboot all your devices, including your router - and try again
Test out using a different DNS server - We have seen users have a better experience in the past if they change their Router's DNS servers from the ISP provided ones to [Cloudflare DNS](https://1.1.1.1/), [Quad9](quad9.com) or [Google DNS](https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/). Can you please give this a try and let me know if it helps?

I can log in, but it says I don´t have a subscription.

I believe ELAC should work without an active Roon subscription. It’s unfortunate that ELAC is no longer supporting such devices, so troubleshooting is quite limited.
You could always attempt to create a new Roon account (you can abandon the process before entering any CC info - it’ll still create an account) and see if that potentially helps.
