Empty M3u Playlist

Im Having a problem with the playlist after migrating from Roon Windows to ROCK, i have made a backup and restore it to the ROCK to find that the playlist is showing no songs, all the lists are there but with no songs
first the music folder was changed i tried to edit the location but the internal storage doesn’t show up in the selection , when i added a network share containing the same files , everything is restored fine
but i want to use the internal storage (data/internal storage) so i decide to fake the location and add a usb contains the playlist folder , and it works til i restarted the server
i think we need to have the internal storage option to be visible so we can relocate the old path to the internal storage for the ROCK server
any help how i can restore the playlist or should i return to the windows system??

Sounds to me like your M3U contains absolute paths instead of relative ones. You may have to edit the M3U files so they make sense for Roon.

Do you have one or two disks in the ROCK?

Yes , Samsung NVME 256 for the system ,and Samsung SSD 4TB for the music and playlists liberary

Then something seems wrong because when you have a second disk it automatically shows up in Settings > Storage, and this is all you need:

it is already formatted and shown , after migration from the source ssd is no longer exist at the same location and you cannot edit it to switch it to the local storage , so the roon can reconfuger the location for the playlist as it didt when i change the location to the external source

This doesn’t seem right. I suggest you open a new topic in #support and fill out all the details.

Thank you all I have changed the path into … instead of the drive letter used in windows system and everthing worked again
