Endpoint disappears after using a unmanaged switch

Hi,

My roon-core recognises my meridian id41 endpoint when the id41 is connected to my router. But now after inserting a switch between the router and the id41 the id41 is nit recognised as endpoint anymore. I checked the cabling, swappedthe cabling, reset the router, laptop, endpoint, powered up the switch, all leds are lit, so everything seems to be ok, but no recognition.

And yes, it’s an unmanaged switch (tp-link TL-SG105). Any idea?

@anon74270827 TP-Link TL-SG108E is a smart switch and does have a web type app interface that works in Windows only as I recall … the 105E (5port) uses the same access? Mine worked fine with Roon, but now I no longer use it.

Is yours just the 105 or the 105E?

The other thing to check is that all/any firewalls are turned off to troubleshoot this.
