· All end points disapear. Airplay, Volumio and Bluetooth devices

Describe the issue

End points disapear and the only the only way they come back is to reinstall roon on then server (mac mini) This works all the time. Is there an other way to reset the search of end points without reinstalling roon?

Describe your network setup

End point attached by rj45 on extender

You could try recycling the mini as a first step. That sounds easier than a reinstall. What you described sounds network related as that is where Roon gets the information for the endpoints that are not connected via HDMI, USB etc. Cycling the mini will likely reestablish the networked endpoint connections. Worth a try.

Lots of folks seem to think reinstalling Roon is a fix all. I’ve never had to reinstall roon in the 5 + years I’ve been using it.

I started having issues with Roon playback this morning and it made me wonder if it was Roon. But no, as usual it was something else. Our network dropped a few minutes later. Power cycling the modem got the network back in business.

Hi @Philip_GAAL,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. Have you recently upgraded to MacOS 15? We have a known issue there. Please check macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network, make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot the Mac.

Let us know if the problem persists after that.
