Is lossless better than enhanced?
Lossless describes a bit-perfect transfer with no changes from the original data on disc or file. It’s effectively the file as intended/encoded. I rarely listen to it because, to my ears, digital correction for the room I’m in or headphones I’m using sound better. Only without room correction do I get bit-perfect and the bass bloom immediately lets me know. It may be bit-perfect but the reproduction In my room is far from it without help.
