I thought that it might use the 30K+ files I have…
So, for this feature to work it looks like you need to invest another x amount of dollars on top of Roon subscription to use it.
Ugh… oh well, something to consider come renewal time

The Daily Mixes contain music that isn’t in the library. If you want to play your own music, you can still use Roon Radio limited to the library.
There are, by the way, some other features in Roon that only work (are only possible) with a streaming subscription, such as artist discographies.
