The Subject says it all, i have tried to update a number of times and keep getting this error

Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs, but have you doubled checked the PC is able to access the internet?
And also have you tried powering down the PC and rebooting?
Assuming it can, how is PC connected to your LAN?
Do you have any active firewall rules that might be blocking Roon from connecting?

You are right, looks like my broadband provider had an outage.
