Having trouble updating from 1442 to current version downloads then error

@Charles_Rossiter, have you tried manually downloading the latest release of Roon and installing it over your current installed version? You will need to stop Roon Server to install it, but typically this corrects these types of update errors.

Thanks for writing in to let us know about this issue. Try downloading the updated version from here and @Robert_F suggested. I would advise making a backup before proceeding just in case.

Thanks for your help. Needed to go to window task manager to stop all roon aps rather than just not stopping the ap on the computer.
Still enjoying roon. C

Of course. Roon is running two programs on your computer, Roon Server, and Roon client.
