Description of Issue

I added a directory containing DSF files. All files are tagged properly and play on foobar. Roon intentionally ignores these files and produces the log (for all DSF files) which I am not able to decrypt:

Thanks for pointing me to the right direction.

That error would appear to telling you it is ignoring the playlist file. Do these DSD files have the “m3u” extension instead of the “dsf” extension?

Hi, thanks for answering. No, the files have the .dsf extension, the associated playlists are .m3u. In earlier versions I did not have these issues.

I worked on the issue. I found out, that copying an album with .dsf files into another directoy (/FLAC/Artist/Album/) works without any issues, all files show up in Roon within a second. The issue affects only the directory created for SACD albums. No matter if I call it DSD or SACD or anything else. Deleting all tags did not solve the issue, so it is not the root cause for this strange behaviour.

Hi @Jurgen_Pohler ,

Thanks for the report, this is interesting behavior. Can I please ask that you upload one of the DSF tracks causing this issue to the following link and let us know once uploaded?

Thanks!
