Error message "Too many failures" when trying to play music from TIDAL

Description of Issue

I have both Tidal and Qobuz. When I try to play tracks from Tidal I get a message … “too many failures”

did you miss the caption “Network Details”? If so, kindly edit or add that bit of information, as it is likely to be involved with your failures.

Not a Roon employee, BTW. Good luck getting restarted.

Thanks for getting in touch and letting us know of the issue you ran into :sweat:

We’d love to help. As a first step could you please:

  • log out of TIDAL in Settings → Services
  • reboot your Core (turn off, unplug for a couple of minutes, plug back in and turn back on)
  • log back into TIDAL in Settings → Services
