Describe the issue

When I tried to add qobuz as a streaming service, I am getting an error "Error Verifying Account. Please check your account details (unauthorized). I have always been able to log into qobuz into the past, but have had this problem for about a week. I tried changing my password, but no luck. I am able to log onto the qobuz website and make purchases. I am also able to use qobuz with jplay.

Describe your network setup

Verizon Fios. Fios Router. TP Link Omada switches.

Maybe this is the reason why?

I tried this but this did not solve the problem.

Just tried changing the password again, but still get the same error.

Hi @steveoat87,

Thanks for writing in! From your admin, it looks like you may have multiple Roon Servers active across the same local network. Is that the case?

If so, I’d first disable and shut down one of your Servers, and make sure you’re logged out of Qobuz on it as well.

Then, attempt to log in again and let us know which machine specifically you’re seeing the errors on. I’d also simplify your network setup temporarily and get a direct ethernet connection from your primary server directly to your primary router.

Thank you!

All computers point to 1 Roon server.

I have had Roon since the beginning and never had this problem before. No problem logging into Tidal. No problems logging in on jplay or Audirvana. Don’t understand why this suddenly happened.

Hi @steveoat87,

This doesn’t appear to be the case, as we see both a Mac as well as a SonicTransport set up both running Roon Server seemingly within the same network.

Which machine is your typical server? Both appear to have around or over 500k tracks as well, which is quite a large library. How much RAM do you have on your typical server?

Thank you

Benjamin,

I shut down the Sonic Transporter Roon Server and now only have the Mac Server running. However, still not able to add qobuz. Still getting the same error. What else can I try? I have 24GB RAM on the Mac.

Hello @steveoat87 ,

Thanks for letting us know. I noticed in your screenshot, you only have the username, but no email. Just to confirm, you tried with both username and email and they had the same issue? Does login via

using the same credentials work as expected? You can also try to clear your Roon cache by using these instructions:

  • Exit out of Roon/RoonServer (from the taskbar)
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/RoonServer/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon and verify if the issue still occurs
