Eversolo T10

I received my Eversolo T10. Will the T10 receive Roon Ready Certification like the T8 did? I was surprised that the certification was not already in place.

Thanks!

I don’t have an answer for that, but, keep in mind, something which bummed me out about the T8, is that when used as a Roon Endpoint your resolution is capped at 384 PCM. However, it will play DSD 512; which makes no sense to me. I put in a support request to Roon since when talking with Eversolo, they say that the limit was imposed on them by Roon to ask why and was there a way to fix it.

I am holding off on updating my T8 to a T10 until I know for sure what the resolution is. Currently, I
have to use HQPlayer to send 768 PCM to the T8.

It would appear that the Eversolo T10 is now Roon Ready. See here: Roon Ready Devices - Compatible Audio Equipment

Unfortunately the Roon software still seems to see the T10 as Roon tested ONLY?

I turned my system on about an hour ago and checked if the T10 was Roon Ready. I enabled it and Roon saw it as a T10. Tonight is the first time I’m streaming Roon through my new T10. I’m a happy camper now.

:waving_hand: Hi everyone,

I wanted to chime in on this thread and share some information from our end.

@Scott_Pope, at the time of your message, the Roon Ready certification for the T10 was still in progress, so it is expected that you didn’t see the device as Roon Ready in the app. However, as of a week ago, the device has completed certification. Does it show up now?

@Greg_Cartwright, are you still seeing it as Roon Tested only? If so, could you please reboot your Roon Server twice and check again?

Thanks in advance :folded_hands:

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am listening to my T10 via Roon as I type this. I am extremely happy to have Roon back in control in my office streaming system. Thanks again.

Great to see Roon Ready. Please can you not limit hires that Roon sends to the T10. The T10 will downsample where needed. Roon currently does the conversion. I have the T10 set to 96/24 and everything over that is down sampled via Roon. See attached.

The usb Output should support PCM 384khz and DSD512 through roon RAAT.

This is using spdif. I would like Roon to send the highest in altered resolution available to the t10 and let the T10 down sample where needed depending on the output used
