What browser are you using?
Switched to my core, a nuc and at first I got the same message: Tidal login error. Clicked Retry and it just worked, which it didn’t on my remote, an iPad.

I don’t quite understand your previous message - did clicking “Retry” resolve the issue?
How were you controlling your NUC the second time around?
