Explain Convolution (on server or via control PC)

If I choose a convolution.zip file to use on my control PC, I can only choose it on the control pc (path inside).
How does this work?
Is it not more efficient to host these files on the server (latency between Roon server and Control PC).

I haven’t done so, but, I believe that you need to use a PC to “load” the convolution files to the Core.

Thanks for the quick answer but what I am trying to understand is that the convolution files are on the PC control. Roon copies them to the server?
It is not possible to browse the server via the “browse” option of the DSP, only loading from control PC.
