Description Of Issue

This was observed with the Roon client/remote on Windows 7.

I was playing around with export and found that if the album title ended with dots/periods, eg “Title…” that the export fails. Sadly the only info in the error message is that it failed.

I know windows has issues with trailing dots in folder names I’m assuming there’s something going on there.

I created you a small test case:

Unpack, import into Roon and then try to export it with Roon running on Windows 7. I haven’t tried on Windows 10, but I could.

I’m sure it’ll work on the Mac, because, well, unix.

FWIW, it don’t need any workarounds or anything, I did what I needed to do.

Hi @Ken_Lesniak,

We have a ticket open with our development team regarding this behavior. I can’t provide any specific timeframes but we will be sure to keep you updated when more info is available. Thanks for the report!
