Can an external storage be unplugged from the Nucleus without turning the Nucleus off first, or is there somewhere to “eject” it like you do on a pc?
There is nowhere to eject. I, however, I turn the PC off if I can’t eject.
You don’t need to eject like in Mac or Windows. It is advised to stop the Roon server component of the Nucleus/ROCK before removing it using the webui then restart when adding it back, but I have removed mine on my ROCK server which works the same without many times with no issues. But I jmagine if it was playing whilst they happend it might be another story.
