Thanks for writing in! Could you provide a bit more information around you setup:

  1. What is the specific name of the external drive?
  2. How is the external drive formatted?

Does the drive connect normally to other machines, like your iMac?

From there, we’ll be able to enable diagnostic mode for your SonicOrbitor to take a closer look. Thank you!

Thanks for confirming that with us.

From logs we could not spot issues with backup.

Could you please check this matter on the level of the OS ?

Does your sonic transport recognize the disk ?

Hi @Douglas_Johnston,

We’ve not seen a reply in some time. Can you please share a screenshot of the Backups page within Roon Settings where you’re attempting to setup the drive? Have you ensured the drive is visible outside of Roon on another device?
