Good day @Tjacoustic !

I hope you’re doing well today.

The problem “net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME"“ which you are facing is happening because Roon ARC utilizes standard web viewer inbuilt to OS for sign in.

However, Android OS on those devices is heavily modified OS and it is missing needed OS components for Roon ARC and therefore at some point you are likely to bump into an issue claiming some critical component is missing.

unfortunately, there is no know way to run Roon ARC on those devices.

We do recommend you to stick to Update Releases list of the manufacturer of your device.

Have a nice day!

Regards.

As of two firmware updates ago, the SE300 supports installation of Chrome browser which will allow you to log into Roon Arc without issue. The addition of support for Chrome browser was specifically added to fix the recaptcha issues when logging into Roon Arc. I would recommend reaching out to AK support at astellnkern@astellnkern.com if you need help with installing Chrome browser on your SE300. The SP2000T does not currently support Chrome Browser.

Hi @Tjacoustic,

Additionally, the geoIP associated with your account suggests you might additionally be behind a layer of georestriction on the part of your ISP.

Roon’s SSO relies on upstream servers that are inaccessible in your location without relying on a proxy server. Unfortunately, this is an issue outside the scope of our support in this category. We recommend posting in Tinkering in addition to contacting the manufacturer.
