· As I was upgrading to 2.67 at my PC windows 11 the downloading was unscucessful/ Now I cannot open the Roon app at my computer. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall Roon?
Thank you for posting. Since you’re hosting your server on a seperate machine according to our diagnostics, there’s no danger in deleting/reinstalling the Roon GUI on a PC you’re using as a remote.
You can simply delete the app and reinstall it from our Downloads page.
That said, I first recommend killing any latent Roon processes in the background (RAATServer.exe, RoonGoer.exe, any others you see) using Task Manager and attempting to open Roon again. Also try safelisting Roon in the Microsoft Defender firewall and any third-party security software you’ve installed as well.
We’ve not seen any new activity on this thread, but our diagnostics servers indicate that you might have set up a new Roon Server instance on a separate machine in the meantime.
Are you still having issues opening Roon on this PC? Please let us know how we can help and share a screenshot of what you see within Roon or when you attempt to open it.
