I’m an IT guy by trade and I realized it would be nice to have a Core failover.
I saw a post in one of the Facebook groups about a guy who went out of town and he was using Arc like a champ, then a few days later his Core couldn’t be found. As an IT person I set up a lot of servers in a HA (high availability setup). Obviously the developers would want to make sure if this were done that both cores wouldn’t be able to both be working at once aka skirting the licensing and letting someone run more cores than they are allowed to but plenty of software have accounted for this.
Thank you, just something I’m surprised Core didn’t have already available. I deal with life safety systems so I know Roon is a lot less important than people’s safety but I appreciate systems being built the best they can.
