FFmpeg Installation

Apologies if there is an answer to this somewhere on here - but I can’t find it!!

I have just upgraded my NAS to a TS-673A (from a TS-453A). I’ve installed Roon and all is good, but I can’t play a number of Radio streams.

I recall, (and have confirmed by web search), that I have to update the FFmpeg firmware to resolve this.

I have a Mac and I have found the firmware (ffmpeg-7.0.2-amd64-static). I’m not familiar with using Terminal to put this file into the right place.

I have installed Roon on an SSD, in a thick volume call ‘Roon’

Please can anyone point me at an idiots guide to installing the FFmpeg using Terminal on my Mac (or any other way!).

Thanks

See here as well and scroll down:

In case of any problems, I am sure you will find the answer in previous threads:

Thanks - super helpful. Very easy when you know how!
