I’m glad to hear Fidelizer is working great with your setup. If you’re using Fidelizer Pro version, I recommend “Network Player” audio profile for general networked audio optimizations. I’ll look into fibre optic media converter later. That sounds interesting.

Running Fidelizer Pro on Windows 10 with Roon Server and HQplayer.I now have a Windows 10 on a Intel Nuc that I use as NAA connected to my dac.Would it be beneficial to install Fidelizer also on the NAA device.
Of course. Fidelizer improves audio performance on both transport and render features. I recommend “Streamer” audio profile on main machine and “Network Render” audio profile on NAA device.
You can also try free version first and see if it improves sound quality on NAA device before purchasing too.

Fidelizer doesn’t increase process priority of the roonappliance.exe process, just the roonserver.exe process. But it’s the RoonAppliance.exe process that does all the “heavy lifting”, at least when there’s a Roon Ready endpoint/renderer involved.

Fidelizer can only set priority of selected process. Windows itself won’t allow increasing priority level on child processes, only the opposite.
RoonAppliance.exe seems to handle non-audio rendering tasks so I’m not really sure if raising this process to higher priority will be a good idea but you can try out and see for yourself.
I recommend Process Lasso software to setup process optimization assignment automatically. It’s quite convenient when you want specific process optimizations to be done automatically.

After releasing 7.5 for a while, I received reports about Windows Store app has audio feature broken after using Fidelizer software. I looked into it and found new Windows 10 Anniversary has some changes that prevented audio feature from working with Fidelizer. We managed to fine workaround method and solved this issue.
As for free users, I also added compatibility with Steam/Origin games on higher user levels. This won’t be applied to Plus/Pro version since they’re mostly passionate audiophiles who don’t want to have any non-audio exceptions. Please let me know if you want Steam/Origin games support for Plus/Pro version.
I also fixed some I/O performance on higher user level related to security problems in some cases I found from music server project and improved compatibility with Tidal software.
