Hi everyone . After last update from Roon my Fiio M11 Plus don’t show anymore that is connect to the Roon core by usb. Any clues? Thanks
Are you on Windows?
There were reports that RAATSERVER was failing and for most an uninstall (keeping database) and reinstall fixed it.
You might want to find that thread from yesterday and have a little read through
Yes. I’m in windows 11. I will try it and give feedback after. thanks for the fast reply.
No problem and good luck.
I didn’t experience this issue myself, but it seemed like quite a few others did.
Not working after reinstall Roon . My Roon Core still not detect my Fiio!
Does it work on its own as a Roon endpoint
Just in case I misunderstood your problem. I had assumed that you were plugging it int to USB to connect it, but it is also a fully functioning Roon endpoint
Y es . i can send music over internet connection. The RAATSERVER connection doesn’t work anymore over usb cable . Roon core doesn’t detect my Fiio.
Support doesn’t work on the weekend so let’s see if someone else who has a FIIO M11 like @Simon_Arnold3 or @wizardofoz can help
Thanks a lot Michael Harris.
Let’s hope someone else can help you get to the bottom of this
Have you done the basics and tried a different USB cable?
It’s roon ready you don’t need a cable
Works fine for me, I use ROCK not windows so it’s likely something in your setup. Try restarting network, core and the FiiO M11
I did suggest it didn’t need a USB cable, so I didn’t understand the use case for plugging one in.
Thanks for chiming in
Check your filewall setting…turn off to troubleshoot and also see the help area on firewalls
Yes i have tried.
I have preference by USB cable. Data goes fast into the dac .
I saw a post from a couple of people with A&K who looking like they were having a similar issue to you. Hopefully Roon comes up with a solution
Thanks. I think is a update issue never have this problem before . Hope they will fix it soon as possible.
I’m not a M11 owner, but for Roon Ready is it using/needing the Roon Remote app to be up to date as well?
