Fiio SR11 stops playing songs via RAAT after 2-3 seconds (ref#XBNQD7)

· The System Output has *no problem*, it's only my other Zone.

How is the affected Zone connected to your RoonServer machine?

· Network - WiFi

Which network audio protocol is the Zone using with Roon?

· RoonReady

Does the device show up at all in Roon Settings -> Audio?

· The Zone is listed under the wrong protocol

Does the device play audio from another source when using the same connection?

· The device has no problems with another audio source

Have you checked that Roon is whitelisted in any firewalls?

· I've checked the firewall and the issue remains

If the device has multiple output options, do the other options work as expected?

· Only one output type is affected while the other output type works as expected

Is the device using the latest firmware as per the manufacturer?

· Firmware is up-to-date but the issue remains

Do you have an approximate timestamp of when the issue last occurred?

· No, but after I resume playing, same thing happens - after 2-3 seconds of playing, it stops and skips to the next song

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· Fiio SR11

On my Fiio SR11, which worked just fine until now, stops playing any songs (Tidal, local files..) RAAT after 2-3 seconds

Welcome to the Roon community. Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. I activated diagnostics on your account. The logs we received show the timeouts from Tidal due to bandwidth limitations. However this wouldn’t explain your issues with local files. Is your local library physically connected to Roon server or is it in a network share?

In the meantime can you try wiring your Roon server and the Fiio to your router with ethernet cords? Wi-Fi can be very susceptible to interference and packet loss which could cause these symptoms.

So I have a windows run roon server where my local files are stored in,
and my 2 roon endpoints - NAD M33 in the living room and this Fiio SR11 in a smaller room;
SR11 is then connected to my Denafrips Ares 2 and then preamp-poweramp.
It all worked fine just a couple of days before.
In this room, my only ethernet goes to a PC and I have no network hub/switch so I have to use Wifi on the SR11.
And while roon does not work on it now, Airplay(which ofcourse use Wifi) works totally fine via both Roon and just on my iphone.

After resetting SR11, not it works fine. Thanks tho!
