· The Nucleus boots up and I can connect to it in the Roon app without issue, but I have a question about configuration/storage/attached devices
Describe the issue
Copying files to my Nucleus One isn't working from the Roon app on my Mac. It stalls out in the beginning, and never progresses. I have a Roon Nucleus One with a G-Drive External HDD for music storage.
The file copy stalling from the Roon Remote on your Mac points us toward how the Nucleus One is exposing the attached storage over the network.
Please confirm the G-Drive is connected directly to the Nucleus One, and not through a hub or dock.
In Roon, open Settings > Storage and tell us whether the drive is listed there, and whether it shows any status or error message.
If you can, try copying a very small amount of music, such as one album, and let us know whether it stalls at the same point.
Please confirm how exactly you’re transferring the media over, it looks like drag-and-drop, but just wanted to clarify.
Does the same behavior occur if you connect to the Nucleus One via Samba?
If the issue repeats, include the exact time and date it happens, plus what you were copying, and we can review the diagnostics around that window once they are enabled.
