Filter by bit rate

I’d love to be able to sort my library by bit rate.

I suspect we can’t do that for the streaming but it must be possible for my local library. There are moments were I just want to test my system and show off and want the best possible source material. There are others where I want to find all the MP3s that suck so I can try to track down FLAC 16bit copies of old corkers that I’ve obtained as MP3 from a friend 20 years ago!

My Albums > Focus > Bit Depth? (Or the Format column to find the mp3s)

I think the op is referring to bitrate of lossy files not bitdepth. But could be misinterpretting.

Right, possible. I haven’t really had any mp3 files anymore for ages and keep forgetting about this

Yes, you’re right. I may tolerate a 320 MP3 or even a variable rate MP3 but I’d like a quick way of finding lesser quality MP3 files. I still have a lot of things in my collection from 20+ years ago that I dearly want to replace.

Anyhow, the reply about filtering for bit rate is still actually useful as I want to find stuff to show off with or test my system so @suedkiez has helped answer that part.

Thanks to all posters. I honestly had no idea about the other filters shown. I didn’t see the tiny right arrow on the focus panel. Now that I’ve found that, and can choose MP3 and have bit rate info shown in the tile views I can find what I need
