Filter tracks that are disliked

Hi,
What’s the best way to exclude titles on track list if they are marked as disliked (e.g. opposite as liked).
I can use the “heart” picto on a track to mark it as liked, not liked or undefined. It is an equivalent of a three state checkbox. But when filtering tracks on tracklist, I can only use 2 states (liked or undefined) to filter tracks in combinations with Tags filter that are really suitable with the option to include or exclude them (so great :)).
It would be so great to turn the “like/heart” picto into three states every where (my feature request).

Missing this feature, the only solution I found was to add Tags on the states liked and undefined, and after I exclude these tags to get an equivalent of the dislike feature…

This is a very awkward and cumbersome solution.
Do you have any other advice for a better way to set this filer ?
Best regards

Go to the Tracks browser from the main menu or home page.

Make sure that the heart button is NOT selected.

Then open the Focus popup, scroll down to “Inspector” and click “Banned” under that heading.

Great! Thank you

Hey Joel,
Sorry I was too quick. The solution helps, but indeed it’s quite a bit cumbersome.
The Banned inspector allows to filter for “Banned” or “Not banned”
The heart picto allows to filter on “liked”

But for the default, to filter on tracks that are in undefined “like state”, that means the default, I can’t find a simple way.

This would be usefull when qualifying tracks, starting from all “undefined” and when setting a track to “like” or “banned” it would disappear from the list.
Best regards

Oh I see. Yes, there appears to be no simple way of filtering on tracks which are neither favourited nor banned. I suggest that you create a new #feedback:feature-suggestions (but do check to see if there’s anything similar to your request first).

Is there a way to delete a track from an album? I see the edit /delete on the page but it feels more like the whole album would be deleted???

Use the “3 dots” menu icon that appears by each individual track listing on the album page.

Thanks Geoff! I saw that and I thought that maybe the whole album would be deleted…I really appreciate your reply!

Geoff, I went to those 3 dots next to the track I want removed…upon clicking Remove, it said the whole album would be deleted? Thats what I thought I as looked there before…It s track from Boney James, an artist that I have every album of but this one track makes me want to tear my ears off!..Any other ideas?
Thanks!

Hmm - it appears that if the album is sourced from a streaming service (Qobuz or Tidal), then deleting a track does indeed remove the whole album from your library, whereas if it is a local album (the tracks are held on local Roon storage), then individual tracks can be deleted…

Not sure whether this is a bug or not - I’ll report it.

What you can do is simply ban the track - click the  icon twice by the track to turn it into the :no_entry_sign: icon. Then the track will never get played…

Thanks Geoff…I will do exactly as you suggest as it will accomplish the same goal!

Thanks again!!
