Hi all,
Not a great start to my trial of Roon - I have tried installing latest dmg on Mac Mini M2, and as soon as the introductory slash screen appears, I get an hourglass and everything stops responding.
Have tried uninstalling everything, removing the Roon folder entries from Libraries as recommended, hard rebooting, before repeating install process, multiple times to no avail.
The Roon application simply says “not responsing”.
Thanks for any advice, before I cancel by trial,

@Steven_R Run should run on M2.
You are not using something on your computer that can block network traffic such as Little Snitch?
Not that I am aware of… it’s a relatively barebones machine. Ensured VPN client wasn’t running (not that I’m sure it would have anything to do with it, I’m very new to this).

Ben from support checking in, welcome to the community and Roon! Sorry to hear you’ve had a rough go at it so far.
This is a good first step as VPNs are out of our scope of support. Please keep your VPN disabled as we continue to troubleshoot.
Mark is correct in that checking firewall settings would be a good next step. Here’s more info on this:
If possible, can you test out installing Roon and only turning on and running Roon Server from the top of your mac task bar - and test out connecting to your mac server from another device as a remote?
